Class : One design

The Streamline is an open three-man keelboat with a comparatively narrow hull and low weight. As a unit / one-design class , all boats in this class are of the same design.

history

The Streamline was brought to life by Andreas Labek (Nautik GmbH ). The construction was designed by Judel / Vrolijk  & Co. , manufacturer is the boat yard Mader GmbH .

Rig, sails

In order to keep the price of the boat comparatively cheap, the rig is made of aluminum instead of carbon fiber .

hull

As with the rig, cheaper and more widely used material is also used for the hull. The hull of the Streamline is made of epoxy resin and foamed sandwich construction (wet pressing in laminate ). (More expensive) manufacturing materials such as Kevlar or carbon fiber fabric are deliberately avoided. The keel is retractable, the rudder removable.

equipment

The Streamline can be transported on a trailer by any small mid-range vehicle .
