Striberg is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province County Örebro and the historical province Västmanland .
Location and history
The place is located about eight kilometers northeast of the main town Nora of the municipality of the same name Nora .
In Striberg different streets meet, the länsväg 758, 763 and 764. In the past, Striberg was also a railway junction. Here, the hit railway Striberg-Grängen to the railway Striberg-Degerfors and the railway Striberg-Gyttorp . These routes are all closed and dismantled.
