The Strietbach is a right tributary of the Schmerlenbach in the district of Aschaffenburg in the Bavarian Spessart .

The Strietbach rises northeast of Haibach and flows through the Schmerlenbach forest in a northerly direction to the Schmerlenbach monastery . There part of its water is channeled under the monastery wall and used as a feed line for a pond . To the north of the monastery, both arms unite again and the Strietbach flows into the Schmerlenbach .
