NHN in a field east of Untersotzbach right next to a dirt road on the border between the communities of Birstein in the north and Bad Soden-Salmünster in the south. As a border brook, it initially flows about 400 m in a west-south-westerly direction through the Vorderste Küppelchen field , then turns sharply south, and then returns to its original direction after about 250 meters. From there, it now runs as a border stream between Birstein and Brachttal through the Wiesengewann Am Grundweg . Your path now leads in a south-south-west eastward direction past the edge of the Häselswald forest and finally flows east of Brachttal- Hellstein at an altitude of about 216 m above sea level.
