The Szwiha ( Belarusian Сцвіга , Ukrainian Ствига / Stwyha ; Russian Ствига / Stwiga ) is a right tributary of Pripyat in the north of Ukraine and southern Belarus .

The Stwyha has a length of 178 km and a catchment area of ​​5300 km². On its course through Polesia it flows 112 km over Belarusian and 66 km over Ukrainian territory. Its catchment area, with an area of ​​4300 km², is also largely on the territory of Belarus.

The river rises at Dert ( Дерть im) Rayon Rokytne the Ukrainian oblast Riwne at an altitude of 188  m , flows through the Belarus Brest Region and opens at an altitude of 120  m 2 kilometers north of the village Pagost ( Вёска Пагост ) in the Gomel Region of right into the Pripyat. Its gradient is 0.38 m / km, its width is 20 to 30 meters.
