The Suceava in Romania |
The Suceava ( Ukrainian Сучава / Sutschawa ) is a 173 km long river in the northeast of Romania in the Suceava district .
It has a catchment area of 2298 km². In the upper reaches, the Suceava flows for a few kilometers on Ukrainian territory or forms the border. It flows into the Sereth , 21 km southeast of the city of Suceava , near Liteni .
The railway line Rădăuți – Brodina and Brodina – Izvoarele Sucevei run in the valley of the Suceava River .
