Sunbury is a village in Delaware County , Ohio , USA . At the 2010 census there were 4,389 inhabitants. The village is located around a traditional New England village square with a historic town hall in the center of the village meadow.

Sunbury is north of Galena , which provides Sunbury with services such as police protection and, together with Sunbury and the surrounding townships, forms the Big Walnut school district. Big Walnut Creek runs between the villages . To the west of Sunbury is the city of Delaware .
Attractions
Sunbury is home to the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial , a memorial that commemorates all of the fallen and missing soldiers in Ohio since 9/11 . Sunbury was chosen as the location for the memorial because it is close to the geographical center of Ohio.
