Super is the thirteenth studio album by the British pop duo Pet Shop Boys . It was released on April 1, 2016 and is the second album by Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe to be released on their own label "x2". Like the previous album Electric , it was produced by Stuart Price .
history
The album was recorded in November 2014 in Berlin, London and Los Angeles. On January 21, 2016, Inner Sanctum was released as the first album ; however, the song The Pop Kids was released on March 18, 2016 as the first regular single . As part of the album release and the 30th anniversary of the band's first album ( Please ), the Pet Shop Boys played four sold-out concerts at the Royal Opera House in London in July 2016 (July 20-23) .
