Susanne Dengler

Susanne Dengler (born June 1, 1964 in St. Pölten ) is an Austrian soprano and musical performer .

Life

Susanne Dengler graduated from a Viennese high school in 1983 and then attended the conservatory in Vienna . She studied with the choreographer Sam Cayne , sang with Christine Schwarz , took acting lessons with Lilo Mrazek and earned her Cum Laude diploma .

Her career started with a comedy show in Vienna's K&K. She then got the role of Louise in the musical The Fantasticks . Other roles followed, e.g. B. the Fantine in Les Misérables in Vienna and the Ilona in the operetta Sissy . She also played the "Gumbie Cat" in the musical Cats and the lead role Sally Bowles in Cabaret . Then followed the title role in the musical Evita , which she played more than a hundred times in the two German productions.

Dengler now lives in the Netherlands and works as a musical teacher. She has two children.
