Susanne Jaffke-Witt , b. Geist (born July 12, 1949 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

After graduating from an advanced secondary school and completing an apprenticeship as a cattle breeder, Susanne Jaffke began studying veterinary medicine at the Humboldt University in Berlin in 1968 , which she completed in 1973 with a diploma in veterinary medicine. After a subsequent assistantship in Halle / Salle, she received her license to practice medicine as a veterinarian in 1974 . She then worked as a state practitioner for large animals in Allstedt until 1979 and in Liepen from 1979 to 1990 . She has two children.

She joined the then CDU of the GDR in 1983 and has been chairwoman of the CDU district association Uecker-Randow since 2003 . Since 2002 she has also been deputy state chairwoman of the medium-sized and business association of the CDU / CSU (MIT) Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

From March to October 1990 she was a member of the first freely elected People's Chamber in the GDR. She was one of the 144 MPs elected by the People's Chamber who became a member of the German Bundestag on October 3, 1990 .
