Susanne Kablitz (born February 8, 1970 in Bielefeld ; † February 11, 2017 ) was a German politician and until November 9, 2014 the federal chairwoman of the Party of Reason (PDV).

Act

Kablitz was a trained insurance clerk and studied business law at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences . She worked as a freelance specialist in financial services as well as a trainer and lecturer on monetary and economic issues on the basis of the Austrian School of Economics . She was a member of the Friedrich A. von Hayek Society and founded the Hayek Club for Krefeld and the Lower Rhine in 2012 . She last lived in Tönisvorst .

Kablitz has published articles in various online and print media, including peculiarly free , The European , Junge Freiheit, and Wirtschaftswoche , and the novel Until the Last Breath . Together with Christoph Braunschweig, she published the books Smart Money Investment in the Debt Crisis - Austrian Investing and Committed to Freedom .

On November 3, 2013, she was elected federal chairman at the PDV federal party conference. In this office she succeeded Norbert Geng , who had been federal chairman since June of that year after Oliver Janich's resignation .

On November 9, 2014, she announced her resignation from all party offices and the simultaneous resignation from the PDV, together with other members of the federal executive committee.

She was the owner of the Juwelen - Der Verlag publishing house and editor-in-chief of the online magazine Juwelen - Das Magazin .

Susanne Kablitz committed suicide on February 11, 2017. The day before, she took stock of the political situation: "This country is irredeemably lost."
