Susanne Vössing

Susanne Vössing (* 9. September 1964 ) is a German chef , cookbook - author and food designer .

Life

Susanne Vössing completed her training as a cook in the Alt Warburg restaurant in Warburg . In 1985 she went to Paris and graduated from the Sorbonne as a translator. She then worked in Paris in the Pavillon Mon Souris restaurants , as a saucier in the three-star Lucas Carton restaurant at Alain Senderens , in the La Coupole restaurant and in Yvand .

After her return, she cooked as head chef in the Bonn restaurant Le Marron , which was rated one star by the Michelin Guide in 1991. At the age of 27, Vössing was the youngest chef whose kitchen received this award. She then cooked at La Societé in Cologne and, as kitchen director, ran three restaurants in Paris. At that time she also worked as a cook in the TV channel VOX's Kochduell program .

In 2003 she opened her own restaurant Vössing in Düsseldorf , which she gave up in January 2006. Today, Vössing works as a rental cook and product expert for the shopping channel QVC, mainly for KitchenAid , where she also sells her cookbooks with recipes that she has developed especially for KitchenAid.

Susanne Vössing has lived in Stolberg (Rhineland) since 2013 .
