Susi Hyldgaard (born June 17, 1963 in New York City ) is a Danish jazz singer, pianist and composer.

The daughter of a jazz enthusiast and double bass player began classical piano training at the age of five. She studied music at the University of Copenhagen and then worked as a journalist for the Danish radio.

In 1996 she released her first album, My Femal Family . For her second album Something Special Just For You she received the Danish Grammy for Best Jazz Newcomer in 2000 .

In addition to her recordings, she toured Europe and Canada and worked a. a. with Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen , Nils Landgren and Dalia Faitelson . She performed with Per Jørgensen and Robert Wyatt in Michael Mantler's adaptation of Paul Auster's play Hide and Seek in Copenhagen and Berlin.
