Sydney Scotia (born September 8, 1997 in Rochester , Minnesota as Sydney Dodick ) is an American actress and dancer , best known for her role as Geneva in the children's series The Toy Factory.

Life

Sydney Dodick was born on September 8, 1997 in Rochester , Minnesota, United States. Her name comes from her parents Paula and David, who are from Sydney , Nova Scotia . She has a brother. Her family moved to Arizona at the age of 11 months . She took dance lessons from an early age, at the age of 10 she traveled to Hong Kong to represent the Olympic champion Olga Korbut .

She starred in various commercials and short films until she was cast in 2014 for a leading role as Geneva Hayes in the Canadian children's series The Toy Factory. For this role she received a Joey Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Comedy Series. In the same year she made a guest appearance in the crossover between Voll Vergeistert and the Thundermans .
