Sylvia González Bolívar is a Spanish singer who was best known in Germany for her musical roles and the chart success Liberatio .

Career

In 1991 Sylvia González Bolívar began his career with vocal, guitar and saxophone lessons. In 1993 she joined the first bands. In the period up to 1996 the Spaniard continued to develop her talents. Between 2000 and 2002 Sylvia played the role of the queen bee in the Maffay musical " Tabaluga and Lilli " at the Theatro Centro in Oberhausen , then the double role "Inspector / Death" in the musical Falco meets Amadeus . She also works as a background singer for national and international artists, e.g. B. Phil Collins , Rod Stewart , Marianne Rosenberg or Uwe Ochsenknecht .

In 2002 the Mystic album Sanctavia - Voices of Avalon was released by BMG, on which she sings all female voices. The title “Maneri Fractavortu” from this album served as background music for the trailer for the Vox series “Merlin”. In 2003, RTL2 broadcast the casting show Fame Academy , the title song of which "Fame", originally interpreted by Irene Cara , was sung by Sylvia González Bolivar. Also in 2003 she sang the title song Liberatio on the concept album Krypteria, which was released in the same year . There she sings the role of the main character Lisette. The title song Liberatio was premiered live by Sylvia on October 25, 2003 in the ARD Saturday evening program Pisa-Der Ländest by Jörg Pilawa in front of eight million viewers. In the same year she founded with German musicians, u. a. Martin Engelien and Roland Peil , their acoustic band more morena .

After the song Liberatio was selected by RTL as a donation song as part of the tsunami aid in December 2004 , the corresponding benefit single was released on January 10, 2005, which reached number 3 in the German charts and gold status for more than 150,000 units sold. There were also top positions in the charts in Austria (5th place) and Switzerland (20th place). Sylvia González Bolívar donated all the income due to her to the victims of the flood disaster.

After many band and music projects in 2005/2006, Sylvia Gonzalez Bolivar played again in a musical production in December 2006, in "Scenario - The Musical Varieté" in Darmstadt. In December 2008 the singer released her first solo CD Go My Way , which she released in 2009 a. a. at the Palm Expo in Beijing / China, one of the largest music fairs in the world.

Since 2010 Sylvia Gonzalez Bolivar has been working mainly in the show and event sector as a singer. In 2017 she also founded her event band GROOVE Delighters, where she works with other artists and musicians.
