Symbolic is a Bavarian death metal band from Eichstätt , which was founded in 2005.
history
The band was founded in 2005 and named after the Death album of the same name . In 2006 the debut album Enigma was released . The release of the next record was delayed due to casting problems. After a permanent line-up was found in 2009, the second album Scarvest was released in 2011 via Twilight Vertrieb . The publication was followed by a European tour with Ektomorf . In 2014 the album Omnidescent was released , on which Sven de Caluwé from Aborted can be heard as a guest singer.
style
In their biography on symbolic-music.de, the group indicates similarities in sound to Death, Illdisposed and Necrophagist . According to Patrick Schmidt from Rock Hard , the band plays technically demanding and progressive death metal. In an interview with Schmidt, the singer Bastian Löser stated the band's various influences: he and the drummer Tobias Schill would like brutal death metal , and Löser also listen to Stoner Rock . Andreas Schiegl is a fan of Conducting from the Grave and Coroner had a great influence on the songwriting of Omnidescent . Sebastian Schilling had reviewed the album one issue earlier. The band plays modern Melodic Death Metal with slightly progressive features. The music can be described as a mixture of Lay Down Rotten , Disparaged and Spheron .
