The Lösnich synagogue was located in Lösnich in the district of Bernkastel-Wittlich , Rhineland-Palatinate , not far from the main road on the right side of the Sperrgartenstraße.

The synagogue was built in 1867 by the local Jews . Until then, the service was held in a room in a private house. The newly built synagogue was almost 60 m² in size. After there was no longer a Jewish community ( Kehillah ) in Lösnich in 1937 , the synagogue was auctioned off.

Since then it has served as a utility room for a neighboring winery . After it was sold to the neighboring family, it was finally demolished in 1968.

In addition to the synagogue, the Jewish community of Lösnich had a religious school, a ritual bath and a cemetery . In 1808 the community had eleven Jewish inhabitants, in 1900 there were 53 people. The number decreased increasingly due to emigration and emigration. In 1909 there were only 28 people in seven families.

The community itself belonged to the district rabbinate Trier . In 1933 there were still eleven Jewish residents in Lösnich. As a result of the political effects of the National Socialist era and the associated reprisals and disenfranchisement, all Jewish residents had moved from Lösnich by 1936.
