Tülay Sözbir-Seidel
Tülay Sözbir-Seidel (* 1972 in Turkey ) is a Turkish painter and illustrator living in Germany .
Life
Sözbir-Seidel grew up in Turkey and completed an industrial design degree at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara . She then worked as a product designer for furniture and ceramics , and later as a senior designer at a glassware manufacturer. She also worked as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator for advertising agencies . Since 1999 she has lived in Hamburg , where they have since among other layouts and wallpapers of the animated series Little Amadeus designed and children's books illustrated and all published in Germany volumes of Bacaksız series ( nipper ) of Rıfat Ilgaz .
Her illustrated audio book What does iiih mean? was awarded as radio play of the week 30/2005 and nominated for the ARD German radio play award.
Sözbir-Seidel works in her own oil painting studio in Hamburg. She is married and has two kids.
