The TV 1877 Lauf eV is a sports club from Lauf an der Pegnitz .

Laufer wolves

The name Laufer Wölfe refers to the baseball and softball teams of TV 1877 Lauf. The women's softball team competed in the softball Bundesliga for the first time in the 2010 season and was promptly able to stay up.

history

It was founded in 2002 as a department of TV 1877 Lauf eV. The team was founded as the result of management training for a regional company. The leadership model should be explained to managers by consulting an external trainer. Baseball acted as a suitable object for demonstration. The workshop was held together with the Fürth Pirates baseball team in order to be able to integrate external expertise . In the first season of the Laufer Wolves three teams were put together. The association currently has 150 members. The softball team initially appeared in a players' association with the Memmelsdorf Barons.

Teams

In the 2016 season, the women's softball team competed in Bavaria's top division. The first men's team played in the Regionalliga Südost. The other teams, a second men's team and two junior teams also play in the league system of the Bavarian Baseball and Softball Association (BBSV).
