Taha (Jianhua)

Taha ( Chinese  塔哈镇 , Pinyin Tǎhā Zhen ) is a large village in the district Jianhua of the prefecture-level city Qiqihar in northeast China province of Heilongjiang . The large municipality has an area of ​​678.2 km² and thus covers almost 90% of the area of ​​the city district to which it has only belonged since April 2013.

Until March 2013, Taha belonged to Fuyu County and was there until April 23, 2012 under the name "Taha of the Manju and Daur" ( Chinese  塔哈 满族 达斡尔 族 乡 , Pinyin Tǎhā Mǎnzú Dáwò'ěrzú Xiāng ) a nationality community . The special rights and special support associated with this status will be retained in full even after the conversion into a large municipality without an “ethnic” designation.

Taha has a population of over 25,000 (2012), of which a good 26% are members of ethnic minorities , especially Manju and Daur , and a smaller number of Evenks , Kyrgyz , Mongols , Hui , Koreans and Xibe .

Taha has 353.3 km² of grassland and almost 200 km² of arable land. In livestock farming, the focus is on cattle , dairy cattle and sheep , in arable farming on the cultivation of wheat , maize and soy .

Taha is made up of twelve villages. These are:

  • Taha der Daur village (塔哈 达斡尔 族 村), seat of the municipal government;
  • Dagaoliang village (大 高 粮 村);
  • Dahabai village (大 哈柏 村);
  • Damagang village (大马 岗村);
  • Fengtun village (冯屯村);
  • Village Lijian (理建村);
  • Xiaohabai Village (小 哈柏 村);
  • Village Zhousan (周三村);
  • Dongtaha the Daur village (东 塔哈 达斡尔 族 村);
  • Jisipu der Daur village (吉斯 堡 达斡尔 族 村);
  • Kumu der Daur village (库 木 达斡尔 族 村);
  • Xiaotun the Daur Village (肖 屯 达斡尔 族 村).
