Fuyu (Qiqihar)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fuyu (富裕县Fùyù Xiàn ) is a district in the prefecture -level city of Qiqihar in the northeastern Chinese province of Heilongjiang . It had an area of 4026 km² and had almost 300,000 inhabitants (end of 2010). Its main town is the large community of Fuyu (富裕 镇). Since the large community of Taha was spun off at the end of March 2013 and added to the Jianhua district, the area has been reduced to 3348 km² and the population to around 274,000 people.

Ethnic groups

Although the ethnic minorities only make up just under 6% of Fuyu's population, their traditional culture plays a major role, especially for the external perception in the province:

  • Over 7,000 Manju live in Fuyu , including what is believed to be the last individuals who could speak fluent Manjurian until at least the beginning of the 21st century . With the spin-off of Taha in March 2013, the number of Manju was reduced.
  • The almost 6,000 Daur speak a Mongolian language, but are culturally closely linked to the Manju due to their prominent position in the Qing dynasty and often live in settlement and z. T. also marriage partnerships with them. The spin-off of Taha in March 2013 reduced the number of Daur.
  • The approximately 2,000 Mongols live in some villages in the Fuhai community and in settlements on the Fuyu state pasture. In contrast to most of the Mongols in northeast China , they are Oirats from western China, whose ancestors were relocated to Heilongjiang after the uprising there was suppressed in 1759.
  • The ancestors of the nearly 1,500 Kyrgyz came to Fuyu together with the Western Mongols. Some elderly people still speak their Khakass language , which is only distantly related to Xinjiang's Kyrgyz language . In contrast to the Kyrgyz in Xinjiang , the Heilongjiang Kyrgyz were never Islamized . Their predominant religion is Tibetan Buddhism of the Gelug school , interwoven with strong remnants of their traditional shamanism .
  • In addition, there are smaller groups of Hui , Koreans , Xibe and Evenks , most of whom immigrated in the last hundred years.

Administrative structure

At the community level, Fuyu is made up of six large communities , two communities , a nationality community , a state pasture and a state cattle breeding station. These are:

  • Greater community Fuyu (富裕镇), seat of the district government;
  • Greater community Erdaowan (二道湾镇);
