Armament

The Taifun ( Russian Тайфун ) is a small rocket ship of the Karakurt class (Project 22800). The keel was laid in December 2015, and the ship is expected to be delivered to the Russian Navy in 2018 .

Data

The ship is 65 meters long and 10 meters wide. The typhoon has a draft of up to 4 meters and a displacement of 800 tons. It can operate autonomously for up to 15 days. The armament consists mainly of eight calibr - cruise missiles .

history

The typhoon was laid down in December 2015 and is expected to be handed over to the Russian Ministry of Defense in 2018.

According to a report by Sputnik News, the typhoon started on November 24, 2017 in St. Petersburg.
