The barrier structure is a homogeneous earth dam made of alluvial clay and alluvial clay. The water side was protected with a pouring stone, the air side is overgrown with lawn. The building site was compensated and the basin was sealed with a sealing carpet made of clay.
The extraction facilities are housed together with the flood relief in a combined structure near the left slope, which can be reached via a bridge.
