The width of the dam is 335 m (1100 ft) at the base and 8.5 m (28 ft) at the crown. The volume of the structure is 19.88 million m³ (26 million cubic yards ).
The dam has both a bottom outlet and a flood relief . Both are on the right side of the dam. A maximum of 198 m³ / s (7000 cft / s) can be discharged via the bottom outlet, and a maximum of 1529 m³ / s (54,000 cft / s) via the flood discharge.
Reservoir
With the maximum storage target of 996 m (3270 ft) above sea level , the reservoir extends over an area of around 123.4 (or 144) km² (30,500 or 35,700 acres ) and has a capacity of 2.2 (or 2.34) Billion m³ (1.79 or 1.9 million acre-feet ) of water. The reservoir has a length of 35 km (22 miles).
power plant
The power plant is located at the foot of the dam on the right side of the river. The installed capacity with a Kaplan turbine is 50 MW . The fall height is 42.7 m (140 ft). Construction of the power plant began in autumn 1981. It went into operation in November 1984. The cost of erecting the power plant is given as USD 49 million .
