Tamandani Wazayo Phillip Nsaliwa (born January 28, 1982 in Lilongwe , Malawi ) is a German - Canadian football player of Malawian descent.

Career

Soccer

As a player

Nsaliwa was a national player for the Canadian national soccer team and has played 11 senior internationals so far . He played in Germany for Energie Cottbus , 1. FC Nürnberg , SSV Jahn Regensburg and 1. FC Saarbrücken . For the 2006/07 season Nsaliwa moved to the Greek first division club Panionios Athens . He moved to the city rivals AEK Athens for the 2007/08 season .

The defender has played 104 games in the 2nd Bundesliga and scored one goal.

Great successes in 2001 were the promotion to the 1st Bundesliga with Nuremberg and the Greek runner-up in 2008 with AEK Athens.

For the second half of the 2012/13 season he moved to the Turkish TFF 1st Lig to Bucaspor . After 1½ years in Turkey he returned to Germany, where he kept fit in Karbach. After several tests in Asia, he ended his playing career in 2014. After three years of abstinence, Nsaliwa announced his comeback in July 2017 and signed for SV Bruttig-Fankel on July 28, 2017.

As a trainer

In July 2017 he became the player-coach of the district league club SV Bruttig-Fankel. Since November 2017, Nsaliwa has been training the D-Juniors of his club SV Bruttig-Fankel.

After the end of his career, Nsaliwa started a music career in 2013 and founded the label TnaDnaMusic, based in Bonn . He released his debut album YEG to the World on June 10, 2013, for download from Spotify , ITunes and Bandcamp .
