Tamara Armoush (born May 8, 1992 in Chesterfield ) is a Jordanian athlete of British origin who competes in medium and long-distance running .

Athletic career

Tamara Armoush gained her first international experience at the 2016 Indoor World Championships in Portland , where she was eliminated in the lead for Jordan with a new national record of 4: 37.61 minutes over 1500 meters. The following year she finished fifth at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar in 4: 25.47 minutes. She also qualified for the World Championships in London , where she was eliminated with 4: 21.81 minutes in the first round . 2018 she took in the 3000 meter race again at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham in part and finished there in 9: 45,68 14 min Place the end of August she took first at the Asian Games in Jakarta in part and was there in 4: 23.59 min Eighth in the 1500 meter run . She also started over 5000 meters and finished eleventh there in 16: 44.98 min.

Armoush graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in mathematics . She also did a master's degree in statistics at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque .
