Tana Chanabut ( Thai : ธ นา ชะ นะ บุตร , born June 6, 1984 in Khon Kaen ) is a Thai football player on the position of a striker .

Career

society

Tana began his career in the youth team of FC Khonkaen , for which he played until 2005. He then moved to the Thai Premier League for FC Thailand Tobacco Monopoly . In his first year in the highest league in the country, he was able to celebrate the championship with the team. With seven goals in 18 games, he also had a share in the team's success. After only one year at Tobacco Monopoly, he moved to PEA . The PEA was runner-up behind his former club. This qualified the club to participate in the AFC Champions League . Unfortunately, Tana was excluded from the competition. In two years he only made 24 appearances and moved to the Premier League promoted FC Coke-Bangpra . During the season he was loaned to Chonburi FC , for whom he appeared a total of eleven times. He then returned to his home club. However, this was bought by Pattaya United in late 2008 . In 2012 he moved to Sisaket FC . Here he played the first series and scored nine goals. For the back series in 2012 he went to Police United where he played until mid-2016. He played 97 times for Sisaket FC and scored 40 goals. For the 2016 back series, he joined Port FC . He played for the Bangkok workers' club until mid-2018. In 50 games for Port FC, he scored eight times. For the back series 2018 he joined the second division Nongbua Pitchaya FC. After the season in 2019, he moved to Khon Kaen United FC .

National team

His career in the national team began in the U-23 . So he took part with the U-23 in the finals of the Asian Games in 2006 and was part of the 2007 Southeast Asian Games squad . He was able to win the gold medal with the team. In the group game against Kamobscha he scored the 6-0. In the final he was substituted on for Wisarut Pannasri in the 25th minute. He didn't score a goal. Most recently, he took part in the ASEAN soccer championships with the national team.
