Taner Alpak (born November 27, 1967 in Istanbul ) is a former Turkish football player and today's coach.

Career

Athletic career

Alpak played for Fatih Karagümrük SK until 1990 . For the 1990/91 season, the striker moved to Galatasaray Istanbul . Here he played two seasons and came to 15 league games and hit the gate once. His most successful time was from 1999 to 2000 with the third division Beykozspor . Here he made 16 goals in 39 games.

Taner Alpak ended his career at Küçükçekmecespor in summer 2005 .

Coaching career

Taner Alpak became assistant coach of Bülent Korkmaz at Bursaspor in August 2007 . Both played together for Galatasaray from 1990 to 1992. With the dismissal of Bülent Korkmaz in October 2007, Alpak also left Bursaspor. A short time later, Alpak was active in the youth of Gençlerbirliği Ankara . From 2010 to 2017, the former striker worked for the youth of Galatasaray Istanbul.
