The Tangelnsche Bach is a tributary of the Jeetze .

Parts of the river course are part of the nature reserve Beetzendorfer Bruchwald and Tangelnscher Bach , the biotope network Natura 2000 and are designated as FFH area . The stream rises near Mellin and flows into the Jeetze in the Beetzendorf area .

Detected are natural river incidence of brook lamprey and brook trout in the adjacent alder - ash forests are fire salamanders and Kingfisher home.
