Tanguy Roche (born April 15, 1984 in Moûtiers ) is a French biathlete .

Tanguy Roche lives in La Ravoire and starts for CS La Féclaz . He has been practicing biathlon since 2000 and has been part of the French national team since 2004. Roche made its international debut in 2003 as part of the Junior European Cup races in Forni Avoltri . The first major event was the 2003 Junior European Championships in Kościelisko . There was a 12th place in the individual best result, in the other races he was among the top 20. In the 2003/04 season, the Frenchman achieved his best result in the Junior World Cup as third in Méribel . Only once, in 2005 with the relay in Ridanna , was he able to achieve a better result as the winner. In the same year he also took part in a Junior World Championship for the second time. In Kontiolahti he won silver behind Germany with the relay, which also included Vincent Porret , Vincent Jay and Simon Fourcade . He was also able to place in the top 20 in the individual races.

For the 2005/06 season, Roche switched to the senior class and made his debut in the singles of Obertilliach in the Biathlon European Cup with rank 18 . The best result of the season was victory in Martell's sprint race . It was not until 2008 that he was able to take third place on the podium when he came third in Cesana San Sicario . In half a dozen other races, Roche achieved top ten results.

Tanguy Roche gave its premiere in the biathlon world cup in 2010 at Holmenkollen . After finishing 59th in the sprint, Roche improved in the pursuit race and won his first points in the World Cup in 36th place.
