The Tarcău ( German Tarkau ) is a right tributary of the Bistrița in Romania .
description
It rises in the Tarcău Mountains , in the Eastern Carpathians and flows north through the mountains. The Tarcău joins the Bistrița from the right on the northern edge of the Tarcău municipality .
In its course it absorbs the water from a total of 19 tributaries, the most important of which are: Frasinul , Hermanul , Bătrâna , Radu , Ata , Pascu , Brateș , Murgoci , Maierușul , Cichiva , Bolovăniș , Dumitru , Răchita , Ardeluța , Gosmanu , Tarcuța. , Răchitiitia , Țapu and Obârșia Tarcău are.
