The tariff association Zug (TVZG) is a tariff association in Switzerland . It was founded in 1992 as one of the first collective bargaining associations in Switzerland.

Network area and tariff system

The network area includes the entire canton of Zug and the neighboring areas of Sins , Sattel , Arth , Kappel / Hausen , Knonau , Sihlbrugg , Küssnacht and Hütten / Schindellegi .

The TVZG tariff system is an area zone tariff . With the timetable change on December 9, 2012, the previous ring zone system was replaced by a honeycomb structure, whereby the zone system was adapted to that of the neighboring networks , in particular that of the Zürcher Verkehrsverbund .

Tickets and subscriptions

Since the timetable change on December 9, 2012, the TVZG only offers time tickets . These allow any number of journeys with all public transport of the TVZG tariff partners within the released zones and within the time printed on them.

The monthly subscription is marketed as the Zuger Pass , the annual subscription as the Zuger Pass Plus (ZPP). From April 2018, all annual and monthly subscriptions in the Zug tariff network will be loaded directly onto the SwissPass . The old form of the Zuger Pass will disappear.

Tariff partner

The following transport companies are united in the TVZG :

bus

train

In contrast to the neighboring Zurich transport association , the shipping companies in the TVZG are not part of the association. The Zuger Pass , Zuger Pass Plus and Z-Pass subscriptions are therefore not valid on the Zuger and Ägerisee lakes . Since April 2015, the Zuger Tagespass + has been available as a day ticket that combines the TVZG day ticket with a day ticket for the scheduled boats on the two lakes.
