Taryn Southern
Taryn Southern (born July 16, 1986 in Wichita , Kansas ) is an American actress , screenwriter , film producer , composer and singer .
Life
Taryn Southern graduated from Wichita East High School in 2003 . She has a sister, Kara.
Career
In 2004, at the age of 17, Southern took part in the American talent show American Idol . Southern starred in the 2009 comedy Deep Valley of the Superbabes, alongside Denise Richards , Kim Kardashian and Nikki Griffin . In 2010 she starred in Pound of Flesh alongside Malcolm McDowell and Whitney Able . Also in 2010 she took on the role of Allison in the US television series Rules of Engagement . In 2011, she starred in the sci-fi - war film Battle: Los Angeles alongside Aaron Eckhart , Michelle Rodriguez and Bridget Moynahan .
