Tasso Albert Enzweiler (born April 15, 1964 in Oberhausen ) is a strategy consultant , mediator and former journalist for politics and business.

Life

Enzweiler studied economics and politics at the University of Cologne and did his doctorate in economics at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster (dissertation topic: "Ways out of the reform bottleneck. Central determinants in the acceptance of growth-boosting structural reforms.") In addition, he obtained a Master of Business degree Administration (MBA) as part of an international education at the WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management , Koblenz / Vallendar, and the Kellogg School of Management , Evanston / Chicago, USA. During his studies Enzweiler was trained as a specialist editor for politics and business at the Cologne School of Journalism for Politics and Business.

After completing his studies, Enzweiler worked as a reporter for the magazines manager magazin and Capital and was then part of the founding team of the Financial Times Deutschland . There he was the chief reporter for numerous cover stories, including in the international edition of the Financial Times . In connection with the Deutsche Telekom surveillance affair , Der Spiegel and Financial Times Deutschland reported that Enzweiler was observed by a private security company and in-house data specialists at Lufthansa on behalf of Deutsche Telekom in early 2000 because of his investigative work as chief reporter for the Financial Times Deutschland .

Following his journalistic career, Enzweiler worked as managing director of the think tank Initiative Neue Soziale Marktwirtschaft, which is financed by the employers' association . He then worked as Managing Director of the strategic communications consultancy Hering Schuppener Consulting before he was responsible for the fortunes of the international communications consultancy Ketchum Pleon Germany as Managing Director in Düsseldorf.

Since October 2013, Enzweiler has been an entrepreneur and principal partner of Enzweiler & Partner Partnership Company in the context of a strategic management consultancy. As an expert in leadership, coaching, communication in crisis and change situations, conflict moderation and organizational development, he advises corporations as well as medium-sized companies, political organizations and individuals.

Enzweiler publishes guest articles on current topics, including a. in the newspaper Handelsblatt or in the magazine "führung + Organization ". He appears as a senior lecturer at universities such as the WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management and the Technical University of Dortmund on business and communication topics . At the German Press Academy he teaches B. on "factors of successful CEO communication".

Enzweiler is socially committed to German-American relations as a member of the Atlantik-Brücke , Berlin, and as an alumnus of the Arthur F. Burns Foundation. As a Policy Research Fellow he is active for the Institute for the Future of Work in Bonn.

Awards

Enzweiler has received numerous creative awards, including the Ludwig Erhard Prize for Economic Journalism from the Union-related Ludwig Erhard Foundation , the Friedrich Vogel Prize for print media from the Friedrich and Isabel Vogel Foundation, the Franz Wieber Media Prize, the European Excellence Award, the PR Award and the Politics Award from the publisher of the magazine politik & kommunikation .
