Tatjana Hauptmann
Tatjana Hauptmann (born February 1, 1950 in Wiesbaden ) is a German illustrator and author .
Career
Tatjana Hauptmann was born in Wiesbaden as the daughter of a Russian baron and engineer and a dancer at the Hessian State Theater.
At thirteen she attended the Offenbach Werkkunstschule and later studied graphics at the Wiesbaden Werkkunstschule. From 1970 she drew Mainzel men among other things at ZDF . Her first big success was the picture book A Day in the Life of Dorothea Wutz . She illustrated a. a. The big fairy tale book and the big Ringelnatz book . In 2008 the book The Most Beautiful Stories from One Thousand and One Nights was published . She has also illustrated a new edition by Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn and JM Barries Peter Pan in color.
Tatjana Hauptmann lives in Switzerland near Zurich and in Graubünden .
