Baptismal font in Rannée

The baptismal font in the Catholic Church of St-Crépin-St-Crépinien in Rannée , a French parish in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region , was created in the 15th century. In 1951, the Gothic baptismal font was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique .

The rectangular baptismal font made of granite with two basins made from one stone block is decorated with flamboyant decor.

One basin was used to store the water for baptism , the other was used for baptism .
