architecture

The parish in Rannée already existed in the 10th century. The three-aisled building made of quarry stone has a tower on the southeast corner. The western portal , the semicircular apse and the substructure of the tower have been preserved from the Romanesque period . The other parts of the church were in the 16./17. Rebuilt in the 19th century.

Some of the flat buttresses go up to the roof, others are sloping. The apse, with partly walled-up high windows, is preceded by a choir bay, the windows of which were later changed. On the west facade, two flat buttresses frame the portal. The arch of the portal is slightly pointed and decorated with two ribbons that end in small pedestals. There is also a slightly tapered window above the portal.

Inside, the Gothic nave is separated from the choir by a Romanesque triumphal arch . The inner barrel rests on half-columns with a truncated base and carved capitals .
