My Geminorum ( μ Gem for short , historical proper name Tejat Posterior ) is a red giant of the spectral type M0 about 230 light years away . My Geminorum is a semi-regularly variable star , the apparent magnitude of which varies between 2.75 mag and 3.02 mag.

As a star near the ecliptic, My Geminorum can be covered by the moon and (very rarely) planets .
