The plate Peak is a 3,350  m high mountain in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It marks the northeastern end of the Michigan Plateau and the Watson Escarpment .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after James T. Teller, who was a geologist on a team at Ohio State University from 1964 until 1965 worked in the Horlick Mountains .
