Tendai Chimusasa

Tendai Chimusasa (born January 28, 1971 in Nyanga ) is a former Zimbabwean long-distance runner who had great successes in road runs , especially in Germany .

In 1993 and 1994 he won the 25 km from Berlin and in 1993, 2002 and 2003 the Paderborn Easter run on the half marathon route. In 1998 he won the Hamburg Marathon in his personal best of 2:10:57. In 2000 he finished second in the Hamburg Marathon and won the Lucerne City Run . In 2001 he finished second in the Cologne Marathon and won the Bietigheim New Year's Eve run . In 2002 he set the current course record on the night of Borgholzhausen , and in 2003 he won the Regensburg Marathon .

At the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney , he finished ninth in the marathon .

In 1993 Chimusasa ran the fastest 10 km time on German soil at 27:37 at the Würzburg Residence Run .
