Tersyanka ( Ukrainian Терсянка ; Russian ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Zaporizhia with about 440 inhabitants (2001).
The village was founded in 1782 by Serbian settlers from the Poltava region . The remains of a Lutheran church building built in 1911, which is now used as a cultural center, is a reminder of the German colonists who once lived here.
Tersjanka is the administrative center of the same name, 87.2 km² District Municipality in Rajon Nowomykolajiwka to which even the 10 villages Wiktoriwka ( Вікторівка ) Woskressenka ( Воскресенка ) Salywne ( Заливне ) Selena Dibrova ( Зелена Діброва ) Kryniwka ( Кринівка ) , Marjaniwka ( Мар'янівка ), Nischenka ( Ніженка ), Novoviktoriwka ( Нововікторівка ), Rosiwka ( Розівка ) and Terniwka ( Тернівка ).
The village is located at an altitude of 96 m on the bank of the Verkhnya Tersa ( Верхня Терса ), a 107 km long left tributary of the Vovcha , 11 km south of the Novomykolaivka district center and 68 km east of the Zaporizhia oblast center . Through the village runs the territorial road T-04-08 .
