Thuringian table tennis association

The Thuringian Table Tennis Association (TTTV) is the amalgamation of table tennis clubs in Thuringia . It is a member association of the German Table Tennis Federation DTTB .

The office is located in Bad Blankenburg, and the politician Uwe Schlütter has been president since July 5, 2014.

founding

The TTTV was founded on June 16, 1990 - after reunification , but before reunification - in Suhl. On this day, the statutes were adopted and Helmut Rochser (Erfurt) was elected 1st chairman. His deputies were Gerhard Neukirchner (Suhl) and Johannes Altenburger (Gera), Regina Runge (Arnstadt) became treasurer. Jürgen Knobling was managing director until November 15, 1992, followed by Bernd Rosenkranz at the beginning of 1993.

At that time, the association had around 300 associations with 7,234 members. The districts of Erfurt, Gera and Suhl comprised 36 district associations.

The TTV consists of the three districts

  • Northern Thuringia with 8 district associations: Erfurt, Unstrut-Hainichkreis-, Gotha, Kyffhäuserkreis, Nordhausen, Weimarer Land, Sömmerda, Eichsfeld
  • East Thuringia with 7 district associations: Altenburg, Saale-Holzland district, Gera, Greiz, Jena, Saale-Orla district, Saalfeld-Rudolstadt
  • Southern Thuringia with 5 district associations: Wartburgkreis, Hildburghausen, Ilm-Kreis, Schmalkalden-Meiningen, Sonneberg
