Plot overview
In contrast to the original cartoons as well as the films and series, Wednesday Addams is no longer a child, but an eighteen-year-old girl who has found her great love Lucas Knieke. She confides in her father that she wants to marry Lucas. He promises her not to confess to her mother. The problem is that the relationship between the strict Morticia and the loving Gomez is also heavily built on keeping no secrets from each other. Likewise, Gomez has to make friends himself with the thought that his daughter has grown up and wants to cut the cord. Luca's family is finally invited to dinner by the Addams and the situation seems to escalate completely, as the two families are completely different. In the end, both families can reconcile and marry Lucas and Wednesday.
