The Beresford is an exclusive, traditional residential building in New York on the Upper West Side , located between 81st Street and 82nd Street and Central Park West , in the Upper West Side-Central Park West Historic District . The address is 211 Central Park West . Along with the Eldorado , the San Remo and The Ardsley, it is one of four houses on Central Park West designed by Roth.

The Beresford was built on 40,000 square feet of land on which the Hotel Beresford , previously built in 1889, stood. It was built according to the 1916 Zoning Resolution for New York City .
