In January 2009 a pilot episode was commissioned for the TV year 2009/2010, but no episode was shot. The auditions only started in January 2010. At the beginning of February, Frank Grillo was cast for the lead role. In followed Luke Mably , Janina Gavankar and Chandra West . At the end of March, the cast of Marisol Nichols , Rhona Mitra , Victoria Platt, Skyler Samuels and newcomer Justin Miles completed the main cast . Paul Blackthorne was cast in a supporting role.
Filming took place in Shreveport , Louisiana from March 29, 2010 through August 2010.
In October it was announced that the series would not receive a second season. The reason given was the low ratings.
