McKaley Miller (* 14. May 1996 in Dallas , Texas as McKaley Nicole Miller ) is an American actress .

life and career

McKaley Miller was born in May 1996 in the US state of Texas. She had her first role in 2006 alongside Danica McKellar in the television film Inspector Mom . In 2009 she took on the title role in the short film Gloria before starring in the 2010 ABC summer series The Gates . In the short-lived series, she took on the role of Dana Monohan , the daughter of Nick ( Frank Grillo ) and Sarah Monohan ( Marisol Nichols ), in all eight episodes produced . In 2011 she first played a larger role in the film drama Traveling before entering the fourth season of Fantasy - Youth series Wizards of Waverly Place for three episodes in the role of Talia Robinson , the short-term friend of Max Russo ( Jake T. Austin ) slipped, . Since 2011 she has taken on the recurring supporting role of Rose Hattenbarger , Emmeline's 14-year-old niece, in the Hart of Dixie drama series . In 2012 Miller starred alongside Michael Shannon , Winona Ryder , James Franco and Ray Liotta in the thriller The Iceman as the daughter of Ryder's character.
