Also due to the pandemic, the start of the third season has been postponed from autumn 2020 to January 2021. In German-speaking countries, the first season of the series ran on June 13, 2019 on sixx . Sixx has been publishing the second season online since August 6, 2020 and a week later on free TV.
content
The series begins in the fictional college town of Hilltowne, Michigan, with sisters Mel and Maggie Vera, who live with their mother Marisol, who is shortly afterwards attacked and killed by an unknown demonic force. Three months later, Mel and Maggie discover they have an older half-sister, Macy Vaughn, who was kept a secret by her mother for years but recently moved to Hilltowne to take a new job at the local university. After the sisters are under one roof for the first time, they unexpectedly reveal new magical abilities. The oldest sister, Macy, receives the power of telekinesis, the middle one, Mel, can stop time, and the youngest, Maggie, can hear people's thoughts. Soon after, her Guardian of Light - an advisor who protects and guides witches - Harry Greenwood gathers all three sisters and reveals to them that they are witches, just like their mother. Marisol had blocked her daughters powers when they were born so they could lead normal lives and was in the process of releasing those powers the night she was murdered. The sisters finally accept their new fate as "The Mighty Three", the most powerful trio of witches who protect the innocent and defeat demons.
