The headstrong Sir Gawain, King Arthur's nephew , embarks on a daring search for the giant Green Knight. He not only wants to shape his character through the daring company, but also to prove himself to the people and his family. On his journey he has to fight not only against ghosts and giants, but also against thieves and schemers.

Directed by David Lowery , who also wrote the script and was responsible for the film editing.

The main role of Sir Gawain was cast by Lowery with Dev Patel . Also starring are Alicia Vikander , Joel Edgerton , Sarita Choudhury , Sean Harris , Kate Dickie , Barry Keoghan , Erin Kellyman and Ralph Ineson to see.

As with Lowery's previous films A Crook & Gentleman and A Ghost Story , Daniel Hart composes the film music.

The film was due to hit German cinemas on May 28, 2020, and US and UK cinemas the following day. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the start dates have been postponed.
