action

The apathetic farmer Arlen Sutter runs the Creekside cattle farm together with his son Johnny. One day an epidemic breaks out on the farm and the animals cannot be sold. The government then quarantined the company , bringing the Sutters to the brink of economic ruin. In order to avert the impending bankruptcy, they procure the substance Genrem , a cocktail of antibiotics and various hormones , through dubious channels . This yellowish liquid, which is given to the animals with the feed, finally heals the infected cattle, so that the pathogen can no longer be detected in them - but with a significant side effect: the cattle and their meat make the consumers extremely aggressive.

The unsuspecting Arlen sells his beef, which is advertised as organic meat, in the surrounding rural communities. The African American Charlie, who runs an inn with his stepdaughter Steve, also gets the meat from the local Creekside Farm. His restaurant is a popular destination for many tourists.

Doctor Jason Hunt makes a stop here on the way to their vacation home together with his partner Monica, his daughter Amy and their friend Blake. In Charlie's rural inn they spend a cozy evening, which also includes a meal together, when they are suddenly attacked by the guests present, who previously ate minced meat made from the sick cattle. The attackers turned into man-eating zombies by eating the meat . Jason and his loved ones fight for bare survival. Blake and Monica get infected. The number of the living continues to decline when restaurant owner Charlie and stepdaughter Steve also bless the time. Jason and Amy then flee from the site of the massacre to Creekside Farm to investigate the circumstances of the zombie epidemic.

Contrary to expectations, the Sutters receive them in a hostile manner. The two cattle farmers try to get rid of the unwanted guests, but they successfully defend themselves against the attacks of the two men. Jason and Amy manage to kill the two moronic cattle farmers. At the end of the film, all meat in circulation is confiscated by the government and the entire area is temporarily isolated. Jason and Amy move away from the starting point of the zombie epidemic, Creekside Farm, with an infected government official.
