The mechanism is an action film directed by Dolph Lundgren from the year 2005 .


Nick Cherenko is a car mechanic in a Russian village. When his colleagues carry out a drug deal, there is a shooting. The drug lord Sasha Popov then shoots Nick's family. Nick emigrates illegally to the USA , where he continues to practice his profession. Seven years after this incident, Mrs. Abramov asks him to rescue her daughter Julia, who was kidnapped by Sasha Popov's men. He accepts the order and with the help of a thrown together unit brings the daughter out of the country.
